Watch Now

In Scaffold, Kazik Radwanski trains his characteristically rigorous focus on the movements and voices of two Bosnian immigrant workers who are renovating a home in Toronto’s Greektown, their elevated vantage point serving as a proscenium arch for people-watching. Through his dismembering close-ups and oblique narrative, Radwanski underlines the limits of our perspective and the inherent biases of our meaning-making even as it presents an array of telling details. – Toronto International Film Festival
